Refund policy
At Kintsugi by KJ, each piece is handcrafted with care and thoroughly checked before it leaves our atelier. While we hope you cherish your purchase, returns or exchanges are possible only under the conditions mentioned below, and will be processed by way of a credit note.
1. Damaged Goods
If you believe your merchandise is damaged, please inform us within 5 working days of receipt. After verification, a full credit note will be issued.
Please note: Variations in colour, fabric, or handwork are not considered defects, as each piece is crafted by hand.
2. Incorrect Orders
If you have received an item different from what you ordered, kindly write to us with your order number and details. Once the incorrect piece is returned to us in its original condition and packaging, we will promptly send you the correct merchandise.
Terms of Return & Exchange
- Items must be unused, unworn, unwashed, and undamaged, with all labels, tags, receipts, and original packaging intact.
- Returns are accepted only in exchange for a credit note. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.
- The cost of return shipping is borne by the client, and the merchandise remains your responsibility until it reaches us. We recommend using an insured delivery service.
- Credit notes will be sent to the billing address provided and can be redeemed on future purchases.
- We reserve the right to refuse returns or exchanges if the product is not returned in its original condition.
Custom & Made-to-Order Pieces
As each customized piece is specially created for you, we do not accept returns or exchanges on bespoke or made-to-order items.
If you wish to modify an order, please inform us immediately. We will try our best to accommodate your request, but once an order has been confirmed, modifications cannot be guaranteed.
